TT had the honor of being one of the flag bearers for the Arizona delegation at Nationals.  Arizona sure does have a good looking flag!

Our accomodations were just a little bit primitive.

Especially the kitchen.  (Just kidding this is a museum in Fredricksburg, TX)

We brought our best Arizona shooters to back up the men at the Alamo - we were just a few years too late.

A perfect Independence Day - eating watermelon at the Alamo in the morning and spending time with my college buddy in the evening shooting off fireworks.

Lyndon B. Johnson had the same chandelier as me... They must have shopped for their home furnishings at the CO-OP too.  Mine came from Rodney's grandmother's home which looked so much like LBJ's home that it was erie.

I must say we really loved being in Texas!

Greetings from sunny England. I must put Texas on my list of places to visit - it looks great! I spent a miserable 10 days in China last month at our textile machinery show in Shanghai (would you believe pigeon heads with eyes intact and duck tongues on the menu - which is why I lost a lot of weight!). I grew more and more depressed at how much machine copying and quality improvement they are doing out there - while our machinery manufacturers are suffering more and more. The good news was that we signed a contract with the American Industrial Fabrics Association (www.ifai.com) to do a joint textile conference next year at our show in Barcelona. We have to work together to beat the Asian market. To cheer myself up after China I took the family to the Neapolitan Riviera of Italy for a week of great pasta and hot sun last week. Back to the grind now in the office!
