We were pleasantly surprised when this article  ran in the Casa Grande Dispatch.  We were also touched by this article in which the Henness family remembers Rodney's grandfather, Frank Shedd.  He and KK Henness were good friends and good men and are both missed by our family.

Farm Studio Progress

We have been working like crazy to get the Farm Studio & Shop ready for Saturday's Farm Experience.  We will be making our wreaths and having refreshments here.  It is really a charming and functional space and full of so much history and atmosphere.  So peaceful with the sounds of the birds and an occasional mooo.

I love the original interior doors.  Frank Shedd, Jr. built this building in 1954 and like everything he built - it is strong and has a good foundation.  It functioned as the feed lot office and weigh station until 1991.  The Howe scale is in the studio section of the building.  It is good to see the place brought back to life and used again.
